At James Beresford & Sons, we deeply appreciate the significance of this process, and it's our heartfelt commitment to support you every step of the way. To provide you with an understanding of typical
churchyard and cemetery regulations for memorials.
Here's a brief overview:
- Full names must be used in inscriptions.
- Inscriptions should align with Christian religious principles.
- Stones must have a non-reflective finish, avoiding polish or shine.
- Kerb-sets may be rarely permitted but can be requested.
- Typically, only one flower vase is allowed, integrated into the base of the headstone.
- Ceramic photo plaques are not permitted, and designs should avoid incorporating color.
- The Lawn Memorial, the most prevalent type, generally has dimensions of 2’6″ in height, 1’9″ in width, and 3″ in thickness.
